I feel like it had a country yet transitional style with a touch of modern with its accent elements and ammenities, especially with the California Closets. The homes will have the latest construction technologies, decorating trends, appliances and furniture, said Jimmy Moore, association president. After the show ends, we remove all the furniture, art, rugs, and accessories. Then we have to patch the holes in the sheetrock, paint, clean up, and check for and repair any damage. Brad Shapiro’s home design provided a place for Garrick Ealy and Kim Williams to pull together a well-traveled, relaxed, yet sophisticated feel throughout the Germantown home.
With 3 bedrooms downstairs and a three-car garage, The Piper is designed for ground-floor living. It is a spacious and open floor plan with tall ceilings and exceptional natural light. This sprawling one-and-a-half-story farmhouse has 3,531 square feet of heated space with custom details throughout. The Piper has 3.5 baths, a separate dining room, and specialty ceilings with custom millwork throughout the entire home. The kitchen is equipped with professional built-in appliances, tile backsplashes, a brick wall in the breakfast room, and a custom range hood hand-crafted from zinc.
The Ericson is a completely custom and stately painted brick home designed for family living. The home has an unforgettable first impression with a courtyard complete with a water feature upon approach to the front entry. This home features eleven-foot curved, contemporary ceilings complimenting brick and shiplap walls.
The kitchen features soapstone counter tops, custom brass and glass shelving that reaches up to the twelve-foot ceilings, a large island, plenty of storage, and a custom hood over the stove. Thermador appliances are wrapped in cabinets custom-colored specifically for this home. Five builders will participate, each one building a custom-designed home on a 1-acre lot. The show homes will be a minimum of 4,500 square feet and priced from $675,000 to $750,000.
All of the builders in this year’s show have lots available in the subdivision. The homes will have people available to answer any questions you might have. The VESTA Home Show, which is presented by The West Tennessee Home Builders Association, features six state-of-the-art homes in Chapel Cove, Germantown’s newest community. California Closets of Memphis partnered with home builder Ryan Anderson with RKA Construction for the closet install featured in his custom home design. The Vesta builders include many extras in their homes because of the participation of our suppliers and subcontractors, who often go to the manufacturers and ask for discounts and advertising funds.
